Carrot spread

This excellent spread from fresh carrots and garlic is full of vitamins and will quickly win hearts of non-vegetable lovers

Ingredients


  • 8 carrots
  • half of garlic head
  • 400 g of cream cheese
  • 100 g softened butter
  • a small white yogurt
  • fresh chives (optional)
  • bread
  • spices:
    • black pepper
    • parsley

Instructions - Carrot spread


  1. Clean the carrots and grate them on the finer side of a grater (this will take some effort)
  2. In the bowl, mix the cheese, butter, grated carrots, yogurt and crush all the garlic. It may seems like too much garlic, but fear not, it will taste great.
  3. Season with salt, black pepper and a little parsley
  4. Mix everything together and then spread a thick layer on fresh bread or toast. Top with chives
