    • marjoram

    • black pepper

Instructions - Garlic Soup

  1. Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into cubes and put into a pot with a bit of oil. I sometimes add a little butter but it’s not necessary. Add about three cloves of crushed garlic into the pot, add 1 teaspoon of garlic in salt paste (if you don’t have garlic in salt paste, at 3 more cloves of garlic and salt) and all the spices.
  2. Fry and stir occasionally for about 3 minutes, then pour in about a liter of water and add half of the vegetable stock cube. Cook until the potatoes soften (approximately 10 minutes).
  3. In the meantime, we toast slices of bread in a toaster. When the potatoes are ready, turn off the heat and crush in the rest of the garlic – don’t be scared, really add a lot!
  4. Slice the bread into croutons and sprinkle over the garlic soup. Top off with grated hard cheese.
